Sagar has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The Municipal Corporation is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Sagar hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Sagar for making ‘Sagar a smart city’. The residents may post their views pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, sanitation, including solid waste management, urban mobility and public transport, affordable housing, especially for the poor, robust IT connectivity and digitalization, good governance, especially e-Governance and citizen participation, sustainable environment, safety and security of citizens, particularly women, children and the elderly, health and education and others. Residents are encouraged to write the problem areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Sagar a model smart city. The last date to submit your comments is 11th December, 2015. Smart City Sagar

provide free basic amenities like washrooms, toilets,toilets for handicapped persons, feeding rooms in every busstand and e-toilets within 2 km. - provide waste bins in every junction and bus stops. - cleaning of city every 1 week - planting of trees like neem, mango in both sides of road and national high ways

All the roads should marked properly including traffic slots. Police should show there existence by making compulsion to strictly follow traffic rules and punishing disobedient public. Some of the roads should be made one way traffic to avoid traffic congestion particularly at railway under-bridges. All the railway under bridges should be widened.

Awareness of the basic traffic rules.signals should be set up at all crossroads which should be maintained Rules for helmets and seatbets should be strictly followed. All roads should have street lights and markings. Roads itself should be maintained
