It has been a common phenomenon that on every purchase billing is not possible so as to imply the Sales Tax. Leaving all the agricultural products, on all manufactured products, along with Excise Duty at the Exit from Production Plant, impose the Sales Tax as well. Whatever the prevailing refunds for the un-sold products applicable on return of stocks, same procedure shall be adopted for Sales Tax. With this besides the revenue collection, black money shall also be restricted.

Very nice to see that the Ministry of Consumer Affairs is taking many proactive steps to curb the menace of misleading advertisements. However,as a consumer, when I come across an advertisement that I find to be misleading,I should firstly know where and to whom I should complain, secondly, there should be a local number (well publicized) where I could call and register a complaint and most importantly, I should get feedback on the action taken. Only this will help instill faith in the system.

Biggest problem now a days is misleading advertising. People open their TV ,Radio or other medium of communications they always find a lot of advertisements sticking them to buy those products, most times it is harmful as well as waste of money. Steps Government can do to stop this - 1. Form guidelines regarding to regulate marketing world. 2. Marketing should be done smoothly not in aggressive mode. 3. People should be informed about the ingredients of the products clearly. 4.No misleading information should be given about the products. 5. Government should spread awareness about products injurious for health. 6. Compaign related to consumers rights be done to make people more aware about their rights when they buy a products. 7. Self regulations of midea should be promoted and there must be clear guidelines for midea in this regard Such steps can restrict the harmful effect of misleading advertisement as well as can stop it
