We have to stop black market of railway ticket booking. It should be very transparent and there should be no mediator. Passengers or public are direct beneficiary like www.irctc.co.in.

Personal details of the passengers with the aadhar card no. support will reduce time for entering details every time. Offline entering of details of passengers at railway booking offices will also help reduce on terminal booking time and time for entering details by the booking personnel.

TATKAL Ticket booking ongoing scenario: Example if an OLD MAN has to wait in queue to book his ticket and when reaches the booking counter, the booking officer has to enter OLDMAN travelling details into system to book his ticket. This is causing inconvenience to other citizens who had to wait until he finishes & always leads to quarrel/abuses at the booking counters. Solution Provided in the attached image

Existing screen used by ticketing railway employee @ railways stations Issue: If a citizen inquires about availability of seat in a particular train with a railway booking employee. The employee has to enter TRAIN # (or) STATION NAME to find availability status. Solution: LIVE availability provided by mentioning trains names side by side in column-wise for quick reference,This shows all availability of seats between the required stations in one screen

As proof of identity clearly scanned image of identity cards /documents having photo in mobile phone /tablet pc may be accepted in railways . Instead of physical identity document. After implementation of unreserved online ticket and platform ticket system the crowd at windows will be half and their are less pick pocket incidents at ticket window .

Introduce AADHAR CARD based ticketing .... no need to fill forms for reservation just give card with train no and date scan card and ticket is issued .... it will reduce Queues at reservation counter ... also help many people who need assistance to fill reservation form ... Biggest advantage will be GOI would be able to monitor the movement of people within country .... Also use of JAN DHAN Ru Pay Debit cards for purchase of tickets no hassles of change at counter
