Indian Railways should build the second track of Konkan Railway as soon as possible. it will allow faster trains and more numbers particularly during festival days like Holi, Ganapati , Diwali and Christmas and also in Holiday seasons and save valuable imported fuel used in buses and cars . More RoRo goods trains will also save diesel as Rail is much more efficient than road transport. Second track can avoid complete stoppage of the route in case any accident or problem on tracks which happens.
