The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear PM Sir, Please make practice of YOGA and MEDITATION in all schools, so that children can improve their concentration, memory, confidence, maintain good health and lifestyle from childhood. Why can't we practice and make it mandatory while rest of the World want to follow it. Best ex: Japan and China are following Indian culture(Buddhism) and they are very skilled people where our Indians even though they have skill not able to come up because of lack of confidenc,e etc. Dhanyawaad

In Punjab Badal Government has regulated sand which is basic for construction of houses that has accelerated prices of sand which made hard for middle class as well as poor class either to repair their house or to construct new houses while police is selling the sand under the table under their goonda raj. A scheme be framed by which sand be deregulated for such people at economic rate to facilitate so called homes and put restraint on builders not to share this cake.

Honourable PM, kindly include Computer Science branch also in Indian Engineering Services Examination (IES). Presently, categories of which recruitment is made through IES Examination are : (a) Civil (b) Mechanical (c) Electrical (d) Electronics &Tele-communication (Please ref: http://upsc.gov.in/general/engg.htm). But in this era of information technology, students who studied Computer Science as main subject are not eligible for IES.This is an injustice to the computer brains in our country.
