The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Sir, you talk of citizens participation in governance, then why didn't you ask citizens to choose the portfolio of ministers. You should have given Col. Rajyavardhan Singh sports ministry, it would have sent a very good signal in the country. He can't be so paasionate abt IB ministry as he can be for sports ministry. And you have removed Dr. Harshvardhan from health ministry, What exp. does JP Nadda have in health care? Dr, Harshvardhan had exp in that field, who will trust Nadda as health mnstr

Suggestion: It will be very difficult to teach many skills in each school. One possible option is to open "Skill Development Centre". In each city their will be one Centre and all school in city will register to that Centre. Student from all school must have to participate in skill development program for at least 30 days. As their is only one Centre, we can provide many skills training. School or government will pay to these Centre. Skill example: Tailoring, Painting, Beautician, etc. Thanks

I have completed Aircraft Maintenance Engg. from a DGCA approved institute in India. But the employment system needs me to have an experience in commercial airline or an MRO in order to be called for a job interview. This is so irrelevant as in order to get experience you should first have a job and not vice versa. To talk about skilled India, how will this system create jobs. This uneasy system leaves me jobless even after doing a reputed course in Aircraft Maint. reco. by Central govt. body.

For qualified women above 35 years , teaching is a good option , as most of them have to take care of family at this age. So suggesting that shortage of teaching staff should be filled only by QUALIFIED women willing to work after 35 years of age, also by this age sensitivity, sincerity towards students also increases.

I believe we waste more minerals in purification or refinement. Training shud focus on scientific techniques and not the primitive methods as in engg text books
