The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

@ministryofinformationandbroadcasting, Sir, My request to you is when common man plans to watch a movie in cinema hall with his family, he pays very high ticket rates. And when his children ask him to buy some refreshments, the cost of the products are much higher than in an actual. For e.g. a water bottle worth Rs. 20 costs upto 40-50 or more than that. My request to the concern department please issue guidelines to cinema hall caterers regarding the pricing of standard products.

Modi ji , don't you think population control should be very high up in the govt agenda. It is mother of all ills the country is facing. We need to regulate it on very very urgent basis . Attach a lot of disincentives for families with more than 3 children like no govt subsidies and other incentives for such families.

@PMOIndia, @narendramodi, Sir the process of our govt is very slow and that's why people are always thinking that our government is sleeping. Sir by taking & implementing some quick decision which your govt wants can change the concept of Indians. Best of luck.
