Most of the so called women activist do not add any value. Their appearance on TV/ media is a mere photo op OR most of them are politically motivated. India is different from the western world because of it culture and value system. Women in their race to project themselves as modern, at times lose track of their roots. I would like to say that teach the girls self defence techniques like karate, kung fu like stuff and where ever victims are more, in that areas, in school make teaching kungfu and karate compulsory for girls. The teaching should start at the school levels only, by making this as an extra curricular activity in schools.By doing this when the girls reach college, by the time they would have well trained and could able to protect themselves and help others too....
