prevention of violence against women should start from home and then society. Respect women, she may be your mother, sister, wife, grandmother, in laws. Contribution of youth can be in the form of campaign, go to schools and colleges and the students to respect the girls who are part of the society and they are also contributing to India in the development. Teach the girls and women to rise their voice against violence and to approach the official to complain. Thank you. From : Indian

When a women gets harassed, there is not just loss of life . Her ambitions goes undone too. There are number of International and domestic laws against women violence..The point is to look beyond laws and realize that a women is the reason behind the existence of humanity.

One thing that may help tremendously in prevention is "Make your conscience conscious!!" Let there be voice for any wrong doing happening with anybody around, let us mob these unsocial elements whenever we notice a wrong-doing. Evil breeds more evil, even from the cores of normal people. Let us be an intolerant society to open misdeeds, condemning the offenders as soon as we see a smallest misdoing. We must join hands, anywhere, where it is needed. Wake up to a new self!

Most of the so called women activist do not add any value. Their appearance on TV/ media is a mere photo op OR most of them are politically motivated. India is different from the western world because of it culture and value system. Women in their race to project themselves as modern, at times lose track of their roots. This gets reflected in their dressing styles, disposition attitudes and ways. We fail to understand that our journey to ape the western world has to be slow

Moral and social awareness, value system, courage, respect for the fairer sex is the mantra. while the education starts at home and the home environment affects the children a lot, Schools should spend serious time on value and sex education to rear socially responsive youth. This one step will sow the seed. While the good and the bad co exist in the society , it Is important to strengthen the good and reduce the no of bad. Further women should learn to respect and support other women.

Good Evening.Hello every one... I would like to say that teach the girls self defence techniques like karate, kung fu like stuff and where ever victims are more, in that areas, in school make teaching kungfu and karate compulsory for girls. The teaching should start at the school levels only, by making this as an extra curricular activity in schools.By doing this when the girls reach college, by the time they would have well trained and could able to protect themselves and help others too....
