in my opinion when a girl is raped she is murdered ....mentally and morally . so why not a strict provision of punishment for the culprits why only 5 yrs and 7 years of imprisonment. The rapists (only when it is proved in the court of law) photograph should be publicised in society so that so that no one becomes his victim again . And the culprits must be made impotent.

Women are not weaker sex, they r the equivalent & more powerful than their opposite sex.Women must start raising their voice against violence by saying 'NO'.People harassing women or molesting them must be severely punished.

Youth can prevent violence against women only by respecting a women.Youth should raise voice at the very instance where a women is being disrespected and this means youth(son or daughter) raising voice against father or any other in the family if their mother\wife is disrespected(domestic violence) , raising voices in street even if they get beaten,raising voice in workplace or within friendcircle where any disrespect to the women is exhibited. Those who don't rape are the real men. 1st one should learn how to behave with women out there. 2nd when such situations arise, surrounding people shouldn't stay quiet and should raise their voice and stand by the girl, but rarely people do this thinking its not their responsibility or why indulge in PANGA. 3rd girl and her family should fight for it and not take step back thinking what the society will say, girl should be bold enough to fight back.
