We need smart payments, so that transaction can happen online all monitored by the RBI and there is no leakage in the form of corruption or black money. Also smart land deals are necessary so that all land in the country is mapped and allotted to the whoever it belongs to. For this there is a need to make the land allocations details public and the land the person hold should be directly mapped to his demat account.

Also smart city should also work on identifying address as number which will save tons of computing space e.g K80, RBI building, Vasant Vihar, new delhi, Pin code of vasant vihar is 11058 RBI Building, can be give number some thing like 521 apartment will be 1980 So final address would be 1980521110058. It will save tons of government department of computing spaces. they want address proof for everything which are hard to trace.

To have internet of things to be really effective if need Details maps of india. Currently public or even government offices use google maps to find places, we don't have maps available to public free which is major show stopper in making a smart city. Lot of time is wasted to just know where the place is.

It should be made mandatory for government vehicles to be GPS fitted at paid the usage charge from movement on GPS. Private cab operator like OLA , meru, uber to calculate their fare. What i mean technology is available. It will also help to monitor if the are doing actual work. the cost of fitting gps which may cost rs 10000 per vehicle. but saving is much more in terms of saving leakage and co-ordination with staff on ground.
