Hon. Finance Minister Ms.Nirmala Sitharaman, Kindly provide budget for reusable menstrual hygiene products under the National Health Mission: both Rural and Urban, instead of free disposable sanitary napkins and incinerators. These products should be made available at Jan Aushadhi Kendra's and Public Health Centers. ASHA and Anganwadi workers should be trained on menstrual Hygiene and managing it sustainably. Best regards, Shobana Chandrashekar Ooty

The pension for early education care i.e primary teachers is very less specially in the private sector. Their salary is also less this needs to be revised as they are the pillars of the education system and this education is the main thing thats contributing to India’s growth. Long Term Capital Gains tax introduced in last year's budget is a retrograde step. It's provisions including the introduction of grand fathering provision has made the entire thing complicated. At the time of introduction of STT as a quid Pro Quo capital gains tax was removed. But now both have been brought back which displays flip flop by Govt. Govt policies should be believable on a long term basis and tax provisions should be simple to understand and implement. It should be withdrawn.

Hon'ble Finance Minister GST now covers payment of tax on Royalties which also covers Royalties obtained by authors of literary works like text books for students and general books for the public and is a retrograde step. It is against the objectives of the Govt. of India to enhance literacy and Make in India through enhancement in knowledge. "Literary works" are well understood and defined in the Copyright Act and so all literary works with ISBN/ISNN number should be exempted from GST.
