Legislation required for compulsory Industry-Institute collaboration like in medical education. Training in paper and sugar-fermentation technology should be open to prople from outside the industry. The vast resourse of retired professionals must be utilised for the development of skill, education and attitude towards the work. At the moment the Kaushal Vikash funds are being mis-managed. These need to be usefully utilised by taking it out from the burocratic tangles of throwing the buck.

Long term competency based trg. Needs to be pursued. As technology is moving very fast, the required standard for skill should be flexible, like CEDTE Imphal. District Industries centre are a waste of Govt resourses. These should be mandated to provide skill trg. and employment in local clusters. The Employment exchange should be merged with DIC's. Apprenticeship training in a few govt as well private enterprise is good e.g. Bhilai Steel plant & Tisco. But, in most other enterprises it is not

The institute and factory under the central Government like Ordnance factory and other organization do not follow the norms and orders for trade apprentice training. The selection process for the trade apprentice training is so lengthy that it takes one to two years for selection process. so the selection process should be fast to select the candidates for trade apprentice training to make india skilled. shri Rajeev pratap roodi the minister for skilled india should look after this problem.

NSDC & SSDC putting too many conditions which are not practical for starting skill development. wanted to start one if I go by their method cannot start because they have too many paper work. Can we make more simpler method to get registration to start the process. Funding is separate issue that can be dealt with.

For duly sensitizing children about dignity of labour, it is pivotal that they see excellence in every skill being honoured equally. Annual state- and national-level recognition of excellence in all skills would show the young minds that every skill/trade offers due opportunity for them to excel. This, accompanied by wide and explicit circulation of the success stories in each walk of life and skill sector, would also inspire and guide them to path of resonance with their talent.
