Dear PM Sir, Thanks for your initiative of Clean India. I work in a Japanese company in NCR, my suggestion is as below: 1. Please share with my fellow Indians why surrounding cleanliness is necessary. In Japan i saw, nothing lying around on streets or anywhere, superclean. People keep very good neatness, then do special service on offdays to further clean their locality. 2. Share we are benchmarking best practices of developed countries and learning from their strengths & mistakes.

please place more and more dustbins in all Indian cities...I am in US and whenever we want to throw any trash in park or wherever we are , within 5 mins of range we do get a dustbin...but in India, suppose somebody wants to throw anything its very hard to find dustbins...and there is no option left to throw the trash on the street...if govt, please more and more dustbins then people will definitely start using it to throw small and big trash.thanks

a decade ago Chandigarh use to have to have best air quality, since than its been getting polluted, all due to increasing automobiles in city. time is not far when we will be facing situation like delhi, so there is URGENT need control this right now by: 1. BANNING DIESEL AUTO RICKSHAW/ BUSES and promoting CNG and E-RICKSHAW. 2. STRENGTHENING PUBLIC TRANSPORT. 3. keeping check on OUTDATED vehicles causing pollution. 4. encouraging people to use public transport.

Recently I learned that 'Modi Sarkar launches bio- diesel programme'. This is very important move to save our most precious foreign exchange of dollars. Another point that I wanted to suggest that at every sanitation plants (STPs) and at many places we are wasting lots of organic matter which has tremendous potential to produce Bio gas (CH4,CO2,H2S). If we remove CO2 and H2S then pure methane (=to CNG) can be used for running vehicle like cars and trucks. So this issue must be taken on priority.

Garbage segregation is good but people in a country like ours will never opt for them when it comes to practicality. So why not sell garbage? When people can keep their news papers and sell it for Rs 8 a kg then they can surely do it with other stuff if paid for it.New york times reported about shortage of garbage in OSLO because they are converting their trash into energy. Why cant we do such things here in india where we have plenty of trash?
