वर्ष 2015-16 के दौरान घरेलू मांग को पूरा करने के लिए भारत ने आयात पर 4.82 लाख करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए। आयात का बोझ कम करने के लिए और बेहतर पर्यावरण के लिए, जनता को सप्ताह में एक दिन पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित/प्रेरित करने का प्रस्ताव है।

हमारे माननीय प्रधान मंत्री ने सभी नागरिकों से सप्ताह में एक दिन के लिए पेट्रोल / डीजल के इस्तेमाल से बचने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि अगर 125 करोड़ भारतीयों ने ऐसा करने की प्रतिज्ञा की, तो 'न्यू इंडिया' का सपना हासिल किया जा सकता है।

हर हफ्ते एक दिन के लिए, जनता को पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए, त्साहित/प्रेरित करने के तरीकों का सुझाव देने के लिए आप सब आमंत्रित हैं।

सुझाव देने की आखरी तारीख 8 अप्रैल, 2017, दोपहर 12 बजे तक है|

Yes i appreciate this initiation taken by our PM. We need to reduce the usage of petrol/diesel in coming days as we see our imports are increasing compared to our exports rates.....The odd-even scheme which has started in Delhi for reducing traffic ..i think we could have this scheme applied in all states too. Which will reduce traffic and in turn consumption of petrol/diesel too.

petrol and diesel as we all know a non-renewable source of energy.has been on a complete deplete mode due to the excess use of it by the humans,Though unavoidable the use of it,the current scenario clearly indicates the drought of petroleum liquids,in order to curb these rapid depletion of petrol and diesel,we have to undertaken several measures right from promoting mass transport to educate the people,as humans we in the root level &we can use judiciously with the notion of saving it for future

People should use more of public transportation as it will save fuel as well as it will reduce pollution.Then electric cars should be used so that fuel can be saved.Government should encourage bicycle riding as it will give fitness to people and it will reduce the pollution.We should use the natural resources in such away that future generation can also use.If we didn't save means they can't use the resources and there should be sustainable development.Then solar powered vehicles should be used.

we are in the time where the natural resources are decreasing day by day,so we have to reserve the existing fuel to future use in that process we have to reduce consumption of fuel to that we have to create awareness among the people about this and motivate them to use public transportation system. and creating the public awareness,

In continuation: 3. In industries e.g. Power plants etc where plant premises is too large that there is a scope of 3-4 km or more to drive from main gate to working area,bi-cycles can be provided for inner plant use and can be kept at different points in plant. 4. In metro cities where public transport is available easily , companies can announce public transport day and employees have to submit receipt of Metro etc for entering in office and reward scheme can be arranged for employees.

There are some points which can be considered: 1. Companies can arrange a bus or mass transport vehicles instead of using individual four wheelers. 2. Employees with help of admin of company can make a plan for whole month for car pooling (Company can share details of employees residential area ,who can pool their car with other employees nearby

Hello, people on forum!! Glad to address you all. I am an MBA student of RVIM, Bangalore. Traffic problem in Bangalore is not a new thing. With increasing population shifting here because of emlpoymnent opportunities, its become hard to control the number of vehichles on roads. With rising number of vehichles, oil consumption has also increase.The alarming fatal pollution level certainly demands the need for a change.
