वर्ष 2015-16 के दौरान घरेलू मांग को पूरा करने के लिए भारत ने आयात पर 4.82 लाख करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए। आयात का बोझ कम करने के लिए और बेहतर पर्यावरण के लिए, जनता को सप्ताह में एक दिन पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित/प्रेरित करने का प्रस्ताव है।

हमारे माननीय प्रधान मंत्री ने सभी नागरिकों से सप्ताह में एक दिन के लिए पेट्रोल / डीजल के इस्तेमाल से बचने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि अगर 125 करोड़ भारतीयों ने ऐसा करने की प्रतिज्ञा की, तो 'न्यू इंडिया' का सपना हासिल किया जा सकता है।

हर हफ्ते एक दिन के लिए, जनता को पेट्रोल/डीजल का इस्तेमाल न करने के लिए, त्साहित/प्रेरित करने के तरीकों का सुझाव देने के लिए आप सब आमंत्रित हैं।

सुझाव देने की आखरी तारीख 8 अप्रैल, 2017, दोपहर 12 बजे तक है|

Sir I want to say that if we educate the people that they walk or use bicycle one day in a weak then the risk of suffering from any disease reduce.one who is suffering the intake of medicine get reduce.and person who do running or jogging and after that they used car or bike they can simply walk one day to office or used public transport if office is far away and one suggestion for minister that they take less security guard who travel with you and waste petrol . Hope you like my suggestion

We are very much aware with the pollution level of air in the metropolitan cities, why not we avoid the vehicles for a particular saturday of a month? If we can manage the two saturday as a fully holiday for all except some emergency services, and if some one needs use of vehicle on that particular date for any reason has to pay an extra amount of Rs.300 or 500 as levy charges for pollution tax. even movement towards Rly stn and airports may be considered with Rs.50 and Rs.100 to be paid

Sir. In the first stage each and every schools & colleges principles should warn their students to not to bring the vehicles. They shoild come by public transport or by Bicycle. These students fo not have Driving Licence and out of 100 school students 6 students are using two wheelers and out of 100 college student 75 are using two wheelers 10 are using cars 10 aee using public transport and only 5 are using bicycle.

Companies(mainly corporate) should encourage employees to carpool. - Each company has their own of recognizing best employee,best team. They should add points for car pooling and social service etc. - Start a parking on campus grounds. If they carpool at least for 5 days in a month then give them some kind of pass to park free for the rest of the month. - This can be implemented by schools too if they car pool their kids they should get some kind of discount in fees.

माननीय प्रधान मंत्री जी का यह एक सराहनीय कदम है़ मेरा सुझाव है कि सरकार देश् की जनता काे पेट्रोल/डीजल बचाने के मीडिया के द्वारा से प्रचार प्रसार करे अाैर पेट्रोल पंप एसाेसियेशन काे यह कहे कि क्याें न देश भर के पेट्रोल पंप किसी भी नेशनल हाॅलिडे के या महिने के एक दिन बस अाधे दिन के लिये पेट्रोल पंप बदं रखे अाैर अापातकालिन सेवाअाें काे ही पेट्रोल/डीजल दे। इससे देश का कितने हजार लीटर का पेट्रोल/ डीजल बच अाैर इससे जनता भी धीरे धीरे हमारी जनता भी इसकी अादी हाे जायेगी अाैर खुद अागे अायेगी।

For medium and long term benefits, please encourage (1) Improving pedestrian and by cycle infrastructure in existing cities, (ii) ensure that pedestrian and by cycle friendly designs are adopted for all upcoming Smart Cities, (iii) Encourage private participation in bicycle hire, ride & return (HRR) in new cities (rent use and return).
