On green environment, the government may implement the following: 1. Employ educated unemployed youths as volunteers to create awareness. 2. Legislate a law that can attract severe penalty for not following the laid down rules. 3. Set a limit for motor vehicles to refill fuel on weekly basis. Example; not more than 30 litres per car (light vehicles) used for personnel drive. 4. Supply fuel as per the need and not as per the demand from states

China is working on national infrastructure on highways to make available charging stations for electric vehicles by 2020. These may be solar powered optionally charging via the grid & capable of charging a large nos of vehicles concurrently. With new rapid charging battery tech, vehicles take very little time to charge. Call for tenders on all National,State Highways & all Cities on BOO/BOT basis & link them to EV production & Solar generation initiatives. All priority areas, no master plan

Decide (1) Declare 'No Parking Day' in Government offices for one dedicated day (2) Carve out/create Bicycle Parking spaces in public places /Govt.Offices (3) There should be dedicated corridors for Bicycles. (4) Strengthen the Public Transport facility with combo integrated passes valid for Metro/Bus/Ring Railway like we see in the cities of developed countries. There should be a law which will prevent usage of vehicle once a week each registered vehicle should have there windshield or the mudguard painted reflective) or issued a sticker with one of the rainbow colour ( should be visible from a distance of 4 to 5 meters Each colour will indicate the day of the week The marked colour will be off the road during 24 hours of the day This will not reduce only the fuel but reduce the pollution and traffic jams Even the President will follow

I have the following points to make - 1. Work from home option for all possible industries govt and private should be promoted. 2. In Pune "Bus Day" was conducted where public and private buses participated and we saw very minimal traffic on road. So plying multiple buses for busy destinations at peak hours makes lot of sense. 3. Vehicles on road to strictly abide by the pollution norms 4. Vehicles with alternate fuel options should be promoted without biased motive.

We have to look at it from many aspects one of those is economic growth, as we know increase in speed of transportation is directly proportional to the economic growth so firstly we have to create one option like battery operated vehicals instead petrol should advertise it to adopt it. Its permanant solution.

I live in delhi. The only thing to save fuel is to use public transport. Its harassment to deal with autowallah/taxiwallah who charge unreasonable rates. Even the app based taxi are charging very high so we use personal vehicles. Also, any vehicle parked in bus lane should be fined.Buses be given priority on roads and should run on time table as it used to run long time back.Delhi traffic police is worst. E-rickshaws etc can go wrong way, stop anywhere, illegal park etc in front of traffic police.
