Respected PM Sir, I live and work abroad, I Observed here government don't cut the trees but they relocate the trees, i suggest each district in our India should have mechanism to relocate entire tree by lifting from its root to implant in new location just to facilitate development of area, i.e road/buildings etc. We cut many fully grown trees just to develop the area. please look in to this situation, stop cutting and promote relocation of trees across India, it will generate employments too.

Advertisement and awareness programs need to launch across country and on all TV/News channels and local regional news papers. Lets involve each & every Indian

Next we are ready to behave like responsible citizens by not littering on the streets but then where do we put the waste, can't catch it in our hands or stuff it in our pockets can we? We need so many more dustbins sir at bus stops, railway stations, near parks, busy roads and junction and they should be regularly cleaned. We're ready to help you but please provide us small means to do that. - Kochi,Kerala

Sir, public who are willing to help feel helpless actually. We appreciate the swacch bharat mission and want to do our bit. But there are many hurdles, for example we clean the streets regularly and what alternative do we have rather than burning those collected waste because there is no proper waste collection facilities at most places and burning causes pollution. So again that puts us at a dilemma. Cleaner locality or cleaner air?

Swapan Kumar Ghosh Our great country is getting greyer by her sons by cutting thousands of trees every day. None will listen simple preaching by our leaders or environment experts. Govt should making simple change in existing laws & rules-such as- 1) Local bodies should approve building plans of each type with the condition that owner shall grow a specified number of trees as per area of land. 2) Each student shall plant at least one tree during his study in the school if space available.

There are many housing societies coming up. This is actually a great opportunity to involve public in this initiative. this can be achieved by involving economic benefits. For example. Any person who buys a house and installs a solar pannel or a wind turbine would be given compensation of 50% or so exemption on that amount on house tax. For the consumer it would mean a rebate in house tax and also saving of electricity bills. For the nation, it means lesser pollution & lesser dependence on coal.
