My views a. Lets stop segregating as Swadeshi\ Videshi. Aim should be to provide quality items, at reasonable price and with ease either by multiple outlets or online ordering and door delivery. b. We have many skilled youngsters who if supported with proper certification training\resources can turn into manufacturers for many of these products. c. Regulations laid should be to provide convenience to customers and service providers alike else their purpose is defeated. Need more space to writ

Government should focus on consumer awareness rather than regulation.Traditional businesses should also evolve with time instead of seeking government protection for their survival. we love shopping online so kirana store should come online and government can provide platform and necessary training.

There must be an online portal / application resigned to enable even small traders to bill; whatever they sell. This application reverse flow data pertaining to sale / purchase / delivery etc. It will help with.... 1. Stock status to Manufacturing organisation to Handel issues of duplicate and areawise sales figure. 2. Data to VAT / GST / Excise / Custome etc. in one go on different servers as real time data collection. 3. Random stock audit by any govt. agency for putting tab on malpractice.

In my opinion, direct selling should me promoted but immediately with a regulator. A regulatory authority should provide licences for direct selling products. Now a days, these giants have started cheating the common man by way of providing inferior products having no replacements. Now, these companies donot take care of your complaints there is no regulatory authority on them. A major and immediate discussion should be taken by the GOVT.

A mobile app to promote swadeshi brands which can provide indigenous branded alternatives for any given foreign brand like Coalgate, Lipton, OldSpice etc. Input brand name can be given by taking a photo, by typing or by voice record. App can also have an interface to improve itself based on crowd inputs/ratings like wikipedia. Not sure if this suggestion will fit under this group though this group seemed to be closest.
