प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने मन की बात के जरिए नागरिकों से पशुओं के साथ अच्छा व्यवहार करने के महत्व पर चर्चा में भाग लेने का आग्रह किया।

On humanity basis, sublime purpose and good behavioural traits, one should treat the animals with proper care and love. They can't speak, they can't use their hands/ mouth/ legs like humans.Who knows! If there is Rebirth, one may be an Animal in their past birth or can be an Animal in their future birth.

Millions of years ago, we were like any other animals, we only knew how to hide from predators and search for food. Us humans and animals were part of a fragile and complex ecosystem and we still are . Over the centuries, humans rose to dominance in our environment but of course this had its own consequences. The balance of nature is tipping dangerously and other species wont be the only ones falling into extinction. We were the ones that started this problem and now its time we fix it. Animals have been breathing the same air as us and drinking the same water. So, what gives us the right to decide what will live and what will not? The Initiative taken by our government to bring back our beloved cheetahs is the right step but we still have a long way to go . We have taken a lot from mother nature in the name of 'development' and its time for us to give back.

1) To make people realize the importance of animals in our ecosystem and our life, the ecologists launched World Animal Day in 1931. 2) All mammals, fishes, birds, reptiles, and other living species that can move fall under ‘Animal.’ 3) Every year the World Animal Day has a different theme. 4) The themes set are generally for rising awareness regarding the well-being of animals around the world. 5) Excessive animal cruelty has already degraded Earth more than we can imagine. 6) Animals provide us food and material for clothes 7) Animals are used for transportation and also for agriculture

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large cat native to Africa and central Iran. It is the fastest land animal, estimated to be capable of running at 80 to 128 km/h (50 to 80 mph) with the fastest reliably recorded speeds being 93 and 98 km/h (58 and 61 mph), and as such has several adaptations for speed, including a light build, long thin legs and a long tail. It typically reaches 67–94 cm (26–37 in) at the shoulder, and the head-and-body length is between 1.1 and 1.5 m (3 ft 7 in and 4 ft 11 in). Adults weigh between 21 and 72 kg (46 and 159 lb). Its head is small and rounded, with a short snout and black tear-like facial streaks. The coat is typically tawny to creamy white or pale buff and is mostly covered with evenly spaced, solid black spots. Four subspecies are recognised.[

The importance of treating animals well is covered in the following points: 1. They have a vital role in the food chain. If for example deers go extinct then there will be no food for wild cats like, tiger, lion etc. and if wild cats go extinct then the population of their prey such as deers go up and difficult to handle. 2. They change the way a human lives. In the morning we hear the hens cluck, while going we say goodbye to our cats or dogs. They change the lifestyle of us. If we remove all this, our day wont go smoothly This is why it is important to treat animals well
