LAst days polling in maharashtra have big contradiction As my opinion %of polling 7% at 11am 20 at 3 pm 35 at 4 pm then 67 % at last As we all plot ink on finger of voter who vote then it must be governments priority to display name of all voters who have voted It will prevent fake voting Anyonr can go n check his namein the list of voting peoples If his name is there n no ink on finger then he can go to high court or supreme court for unfair elections It will increase transparancy

Please increase the limit to bring in foreign exchange from USD 5000 to USD 20000 for all NRIs and Foreigners. They spend this amount in local market and hence boost local trade. Also, as Travellers' Cheques are now not preferred, the cap on bringing in currency notes should be removed and the person should be allowed to bring in total quota in currency notes without any declaration. The rule to obtain CDF from customs should be done away with or should be relaxed up to USD 20000 / trip

I think older retired NRI's would like to serve the country and basically their village/towns. There should be small projects where they can contribute their time and resources. These could be development of school, solar power, etc. There should be a platform where they can connect to local MP's. For the younger NRI's they should be able to donate and provide technical inputs for various issues. Their contribution should be acknowledged. It should be made easy for them to travel to India.

NRI/NRI groups should be invited to adopt a village as proposed to MPs & MLAs. Every year, "100 best villages" contest can be organised to encourage the stakeholders. and in 5 years all villages shall be developed. Even the Indians can also be engaged in adopting a village as there are many of us who have roots in villages but settled in cities.

The Threat of Ebola. It is too real to be ignored or to be underestimated. A proactive action strategy is quickly and effectively put in place at all levels of health administration, the threat of catching an infection and subsequent spread of the virus is highly possible in a country as populated and having a social structure like India.
