Please setup a sabbatical program by which NRIs can come to India for a period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year or more, and volunteer their services to make government projects successful. Many NRIs would love to contribute for the development of the country through such sabbatical programs. I am sure the government can also use the professional services of NRI volunteers.

Dual Citizenship!!! Why is India not allowing dual citizenship. I believe this will allow people to take the best of other countries and return back to their roots after a few years. India should allow dual citizenship atleast for prominent countries.

Sir, NRIs are also Indians & love their country. they also want to contribute for the progress of India. But due to following reasons all NRIs can not contribute:- a) Corruption involved at all levels of bureaucracy & ministry. b) NRI's personal & social security. Govt must guarantee and secure their interest such as their stay in India, their health, education of their children and attitude of our people towards them, In my opinion if these things are taken of maximum NRIs will come forward.

I would suggest a parallel theme to "Make in India" for the NRIs, named "Earn for India". Each city in countries like US, UAE, UK have good strength of NRIs who can work together like Alumni groups of various colleges. These groups can pick a sector (like manufacturing) or a cause (like Clean India) and contribute both financially and strategically. A strategic contribution would include suggesting best practices for India (based on their exposure abroad), developing products, solutions etc.

Namasthe, I always see that NRIs are considered only for investment. The Govt should think about involving NRIs in administration in various capacities. I know this is a new concept of course. But there are a good number of NRIS willing to come back and join the team to make INDIA better. Not for earning money but to give back to their country. Please look into the possibility of recruiting NRIS in various projects for aggressive execution. They will surely bring in new ideas and work culture.

Changes the date of the PBD from 9 January to 11 January. Current dates of 7-9 January only 9 January is of historic significance, changing the dates to 11 January have significance of both dates. On 9 January Gandhiji's returned to India which brought smile to Indians and on 11 January Shastriji died & the whole country wept. Shastriji had the same strength as that of Sardar Patel. Had Sardar Patel and Shastriji lived longer the destination of the country would have been different..
