I would recommend the government to have separate cell for NRI entrepreneurs; so that the NRIs could easily get the approval from Government to start investing in India. The Government approval process could be made fast track and clear them off in maximum of 2 to 3 weeks period; just like first world countries Especially for to provide employment to the educated because every year plenty of Engineers and Science and IT graduates are coming out; small scale units could be provided to NRis

A short and concise note; (i) Indian Ambassadors all over world must work forward to motivate diaspora (s) and willing persons to investment in India (ii) According to the size of the foreign country, can appoint number of authorized volunteers (I mean a nonpolitical person) to approach co-diaspora (s) for this mission. Needless to say, the person to be appointed as an authorized Indian Representative must be reasonably educated with genuine profile and shall be chosen by Indian Ambassador of the foreign country. I physically participated due to one of my Malaysian pal and know how Malaysian Ambassador promotes his countrymen to develop his business in UAE. Power is not matters, but intentions are. Lots to talk about for forward path to contribute as much as WE can. As a NRI of 18 years in middle east, no potential situation or pleasing invitation to do so. I strongly believe that nothing is impossible under the patronage of our loving PM.

First we have to improve our infrastructure to attract NRIs with improvement in our policies so we can provide a better service to NRI investors, corruption is at peak in India & it is well known, they will not have any hurdle in investing & managing their business due to all these.

India is naturally wealthy country with super geographic diversity & tremendous man power. We also have many corporate houses in India like Wipro, TATA, Reliace, Infosys etc. Encourage such corporate houses to adopt any place and make it tourist friendly. Initiate some credit point facility to such corporate houses & give away awards. There are many advantages 1. create employment for local people 2. increase in investment 3.Free advertisement for corporate houses Roll out a scheme.
