बाल स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की सुलभता में सुधार की आवश्याता है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय समुचित मध्यस्थता के माध्यम से बाल-स्वास्थ्य के संवर्धन पर ध्यान केन्द्रित कर रहा है। वर्तमान में स्कूल शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग, मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय 6-14 वर्षों के आयुवर्ग के स्कूल जाने वाले बच्चों की पोषाहार की जरूरतों का मध्याह्न भोजन (एमडीएम) योजना के माध्‍यम से समाधान करता है। डब्ल्यूसीडी के अंतर्गत बाल विकास एकीकृत योजना भी बाल स्वास्थ्य के मामलों का समाधान करती है। तथापि, भारत सरकार के संगत मंत्रालयों द्वारा बहुक्षे‍त्रीय हस्तक्षेपों में तालमेल कायम करने की आवश्यकता है। मौजूदा योजनाओं से प्राप्त परिणामों और उनके समन्वयन सहित कार्यान्वयन में आने वाली बाधाओं की जांच करने की आवश्यकता है। इस विषय पर विचार और सुझाव आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं कि वर्तमान योजनाओं में सुधार के माध्यम से और नए समग्र हस्तक्षेप सुझाने से बच्चे पर अधिक ध्यान केन्द्रित करना कैसे सुनिश्चित किया जा सकता है।

Sir,we are a democracy and we have unity in diversity as a matter of fact, but we also have student's from various socio-economic backgrounds. 1. Thus it becomes mandatory to impart health education to the students right from 1st standard. 2. Regular medical checkup of the student's is a must. 3.Student's must be encouraged to watch health videos in games period. 4.Health assessment of student's on grade's must be done regularly.

Next ,when the child is admitted in 1st standard at that very instant the government of India should deposit 5 lakhs in State Bank Of India in that child's name and make use of this money for the benefit of that child in future for professional colleges or that money will be utilised by that child in starting a business/small firm/company.Afterall we are a developed country and this step will surely help our nation.
