राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग अधिनियम, 1990 के तहत जनवरी 1992 में स्थापित राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग एक वैधानिक निकाय है, जिसके पास महिलाओं के संवैधानिक और वैधानिक अधिकारों की रक्षा करने का अधिकार है। महिला आयोग महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण और समग्र विकास में सहायता प्रदान करने वाले कार्यक्रम की पहल करता है ताकि महलाओं की अवसरों तक पहुंच सुनिश्चित कर निर्णय लेने में सक्षम बनाया जा सके।

महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस 2000 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा शुरू किया गया था। यह दिन प्रतिवर्ष 25 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है। महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने का प्रयास है। इस दिन का उद्देश्य महिलाओं के साथ दुर्व्यवहार करने वालों के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करके हिंसा की रोकथाम करना है। यह दिन महिलाओं के खिलाफ किसी भी ऐसी हिंसा को लिंग-आधारित हिंसा के रूप में परिभाषित करता है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप महिलाओं को शारीरिक, यौन या मनोवैज्ञानिक परेशानी होती है या होने की संभावना होती है। इस दिन का लक्ष्य समानता, विकास और शांति सुनिश्चित करना है। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं और लड़कियों के मानवाधिकारों की रक्षा करना है।

महिला आयोग ने अपने मैंडेट के मुताबिक और 'महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन' के लक्ष्य के मद्देनजर महिला आयोग माईगव पोर्टल के माध्यम से लैंगिक हिंसा के खिलाफ चुप्पी तोड़ने पर सभी हितधारकों से इनपुट, सुझाव और प्रतिक्रिया आमंत्रित करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य लोगों के बीच समानता, विकास और शांति को बढ़ावा देना है।

Our India, a country of rich ancient cultures and traditions, a land recognized by great personalities like Lord Ram, Mahatma Buddha, Samraat Ashoka and Shahenshah Akbar. However, India’s name is no less glorified by the Female personalities like the Rani of Jhasi, Rani Padmini, Ahilyabai Holkar and Razia Sultan for their courage and valor. India has been a land where both men and women have equal position and status in the society from the very vedic period.. They have played significant roles equally whether it was a freedom struggle against British rule or in the Indian government after getting independence or to represent India at a global level. In every spheres of the society, women are leading with shoulder to shoulder with men such as education, economics, politics, media, art, space and culture, service sectors, science and technology,etc So, we must do our share to eradicate this menace from the face of our society. I have written about such a problem of women in the file.

Just like Japan, the education to respect women and all others is to be given to every children since childhood. I think the one of the reasons behind violence against women is the thought that women are weak. So, to overcome this we have to try to change the mindset of such people ,and obviously this will be happen when these thinkings are put in mind since childhood. Another reason is pornography, government should ban all websites of pornography in India. The major changes can be done with the help of education. Thank you

A bill passed in LS and RS for the fixing of Women's marriage age to 21. Even though it is a good move of our Government, Without control of Media it is very difficult to achieve. Restrictions on YouTube videos may help to prevent the violations against women. Censoring of TV serials must be introduced to prevent wrong guidance for the Society especially on women. Need for the hour. jai hind

इस बात का सीधा सा जवाब दिया जा सकता है कि गांव की लड़कियां भी अपनी सेवाएं राष्ट्र को दे रही है ।आरक्षण से अनुकूल माहौल बना हुआ है । लेकिन हमारा मतलब उन कमजोर वर्गों से है जिनके परिवार में अनायास ही कोई स्नातक स्तर तक पहुंच पाता है ।गांवों की वे लड़ियां आगे बढ़ने में कामयाब है जो किसान परिवार से है ।मजदूर परिवारों में यह बात नहीं है बात जागरुकता की भी है । कोचिंगों की पहुंच भी बड़ी सीमा खींचती है ।सीधी सी बात यह है कि इस उभरते भारत में पढ़ी लिखी लड़की खेतो में मजदूरी करती अच्छी नहीं लगती ।तुरंत..

हम नये भारत गढ़ने की और तेजी से प्रयासरत है अगर ये ग्रामीण पढ़ी लिखी लड़की अपनी योग्यताओं को खेतों में खो देगी तो आने वाली इनकी पीढ़ियों को फिर वही संघर्ष करना पड़ेगा जो यह कर रही है ।खेतों के काम इस प्रौद्योगिक युग में मशीनों से चल रहे है ।इन महिलाओं को किसानों की सस्ती मशीन बनने से रोका जाये ।यह कितनी अजीब बात है कि आपको यह देखने में भी आ जायेगा कि जो हमारे गरीब किसान कहे जाते है वह भी कितना शोषण करते है ।अत:सीधी सी बात यह है का एक अलग रास्ता बनाते हुए नये युग की महिलाओं को स्थान दिया जाये ...
