The number of Women committing suicide due to the harassment in the families is very large and doesn't get attention. The number is more than road accidents or farmer deaths. Employers should have ways to understand family issues of their employees and arrange professional counselling. Every ward, village should have men/women volunteers who talk about issue of violence against women and sensitise the community. Outspoken/ courageous boys and girls in high schools should be trained as volunteers

1. All girls should be taught freely upto graduation 2. 50 % reservation for education and employment for girls/women. 3. Higher ceiling for income tax exemption for taxpayers with two or more daughters and for women. 4. Ensure reduction of drugs and alcoholism in India. Please stop the govt promoted issue of tax free liquor to Defence Forces and ex servicemen.

Opposite sex attracts, but when we separate them in name of ladies/boys only school, attraction become stronger. & We separate them in name of ladies only bus/seat, so hate might increase. If men & women are equal then why reservations ?. how many times you have noticed near nude male/women in public. Short/er dress is not problem, number matters. all with iphone is normal but 1 in 100 matters. Some might wonder whats connection of above with violence, Study science of advertising for answer.

To protect women in India social awareness must be created among the male.Government is showing its willingness to make this country free from crime against women, but this doesn't seems possible without the help of so called common man of India. This is not only a law and order problem,as persons after their imprisonment in such cases are found to have commited a crime against the Women. Many in our country are willing to work for this cause, but they needed to be nudged.

Changing the mindset of youth towards women is the most crucial act that a youth can do and also has the ability to do so.Secondly spreading awareness In the society is the sole responsibility of youth and opposing any sort of violence against women either in public places or in domestic places would be a very appreciable step to prevent violence against women. This is the assistance and the need of the hour and youth must take part in it.

Prevention should start early in life, by educating and working with young boys and girls promoting respectful relationships and gender equality. Working with youth is a “best bet” for faster, sustained progress on preventing and eradicating gender-based violence. While public policies and interventions often overlook this stage of life, it is a critical time when values and norms around gender equality are forged.
