Some ideas: 1. Strict and stringent laws with hefty fines, like North American or European nations 2. Rapid solving of cases 3. Dress codes has noting to do with violence against women, its our (both men and women) mentality that needs to be changed and this can only be done through education. 4. Economic independence of women. However, this will not happen overnight, we taken decades to reach this bad social scenario and it will take some time to reach the social balance.

1. teach kids to respect the opposite sex as well as same sex. Ask them to speak to the maids with respect and use words like Didi, Amma etc. 2. do not criticize women in front of the kids. 3. Respect begins from your own home, if we as adults respect the women the youth will follow. 4. TV Serials portraying women as weaker or the adjusting class should be banned. 5. TV, Cinema, Newspaper, Magazines, social media etc. should talk about men and women being equal.

Stop showing women as a objects like in deodorant and other advertising, create awareness abt women's right,at home we teach our sister and daughter how live, what to wear so we have to teach our son and brother how to behave with girls. Like Athithi devo bhaw, clean india advertise we also have to creat adds on women safty and respect women etc

2. For the current mindset already set in, we need to make people stand up for women by means of campaign, art, events etc. People should be applauded and supported who stand up for women. Women at the same time should also stand up for themselves and not succumb to any indiscipline. Women should raise a voice as well. Lastly Police should be more vigilant across the city to protect crime against women. It would be advisable to actually have a separate department within police for this.

Two pronged approach to it: 1. Objectification of Women needs to stop: It has been long that women/girl have been put through specific mindset. They are weak, they need to be housewives, the need to do cooking etc etc.At grassroot level from schools itself girls should be given more & more opportunities and encouraged participation in every activity.Their confidence should be boosted by encouragement & providing them opportunities to excel and NOT SUPPRESSED.

it is very simple, if we teach our children in proper way at home and school as well and motivate them against tens life it will be easier to save them from violence against women.both gender should not fall in blind love but in true love without involvment of sex education which is not necessary in the our climate. Dress code should be sober and discipline life should be motivated like gurukul systems where the life is allowed to move in control way .at present moral eduation is totally absent

First of all stop anti women image display in movies and in TV Serials. Currently one Comedy serial with Kapil Sharma is running on the TV, in the name of comedy they do fluting and cheap class activities. Hindi meaning of woman is MAHILA, but sorry to say in the name of modernity and independence we forget meaning of MA means mother, HI means himmat or bravery and LA means LAJ means shy
