India has Beautiful and powerful history. We have number of forts, palace, temples, tomb, mahal, minar, heritage centre etc. 1. Rather than developing new places or statues we should focus on the revamping of the existing sites. 2. We should connect those sites with mode of transport like roadways railways etc. 3. Employment generation for local people can be achieved. 4. It is Responsibility of the state govt. to maintain their tourist sites. 5. loads of income can be generated from it.

During Holi I went to Mukutmanipur, Bankura, West Bengal. It has second largest dam in the India. It is a very charming place. But the road from Arambagh to Kotalpur (SH 2) is very bad.It is around 20 Km distance.Since we drove we know ! It ultimately results in huge loss of fuel due to poor mileage because of road condition. Since we spend huge forex to buy fuel - all this adds upto the kitty. So I want to draw attention to the authority who looks after these. I know SH is not under NH authority

Non Functional Escalators at Chandigarh Railway station ! The front lane still has demarcation for VIPs and there are boards for Reserved VIP Parking ! In what age and time wrap are we living and when will this change? Respected P.M Sir, please get this all done away with. We the citizens will bless you and also lend our considerable support for all your measures. We want an India free from this VIP culture of privileges-at our cost, but not for us !

Food served in Trains- The government has not spelled out at all as to how the quality of food served in trains like Shatabadi, which is included in the ticket cost will be improved. The quality at present is deplorable and has in fact deteriorated considerably over the last few months, despite pronoun cements to the contrary. Why don't the authorities listen ? The suggestion forms are apparently just circulated as a mere formality. Mr. Minister, please wake up and do something NOW.

Swatch Bharat-The Government must announce on the national media and in newspapers the specific steps that have been under taken for garbage collection and disposal in different cities and how are they different than the past measures. In what time frame, say cities like Delhi and Chandigarh/Panchkula will have better garbage management and cleanliness. It is very important for the citizens to learn about the specific actions taken and being planned.

Sir, I have been touring in India and abroad since last 20 years. We must develop North East Tourism with proper rail / air / Road routes. Initially -Security of tourist is utmost importance. Government appointed Local people participation for tourism is necessary. Many people avoid North East only for security reason. Once tourism starts - money will help the development of North East. Even J& K Tourism is required for the state development. Awareness among people to be spread.

present development in tourist place is not systematic, at least near monumental places some planning is necessary,to attract tourist, good roads, dust bin,( must collect garbage),hygienic toilet, taxi, and other display rates, with this minimum service more tourist national/international will come to visit,so also source of income for maintenance, and also will generate employment.
