1) Provisions should be made to spend some part of revenue earned from the mines to be spent on the local people itself both by the government and commercial miners. 2) Provisions should be made to completely uproot tress and planting it somewhere else instead of cutting trees and steps should be taken to prevent soil erosion. #MyGov #MinistryofCoal #CoalAuction

Coal is not a green energy source and private companies will abuse the resources if they have complete control; therefore, there should be strict restrictions placed on commercial mining companies. They should be limited to mining certain amounts of coal per day and they should have to get strict environmental clearances. There should be a provision for a heavy fine to commercial coal mining companies that pollute or damage the environment.

Before entrusting the land for excavation, it should be ensured that the displaced people and wildlife are properly rehabilitated with all basic necessities like home, water, hospital, electricity, roads, school, entertainment, employment, etc. This must not be left to the State governments but ensured by the Centre beforehand through proper inspection and certification. Minimum number of trees should be cut and compensatory plantation should be done to save the environment

Prime Minister ji, our U.T.'s Congress Govt.'s Assembly Speaker, Shri Vaithilingam is involved in coal block scam, coal block in Naini, Odisha, in the year 2004. Pl. see the link for details: http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-tamilnadu/aiadmk-wants-cbi-probe-into-coal-block-scam/article5988144.ece Now he finds fault with our dutiful L.G. ji with man made complaints on her so that they can have full freedom to loot government treasury. Who will save democracy here, P.M. ji?

Burning coal is not environment friendly. Certainly private players will abuse the nature to the core. Please shift the county from coal to solar energy. Please encourage innovation in producing and using solar energy efficiently at least 100 times more than today.

while the paper shared is good in principle and covers the basics there are one key concerns which needs to be addressed hoarding and environmental. The successful bidder will be allowed to manage his production (this is good) however there is no reference to stop him from not selling the said inventory.I believe in public interest he should at no point in time have unsold inventory of greater than 70 % of the mined content thereby protecting the consumer from artificial pricing.
