समस्या हल करने, विवेचनात्मक सोच और तर्क कौशलों पर विशेष ध्यान देने वाले परीक्षा संबंधी सुधार माध्यमिक स्तर पर गुणवत्ता बेहतर बनाने लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं। ऐसे सुधार शिक्षण-अधिगम प्रक्रियाओं में बदलाव लाएंगे और अधिगम परिणामों को बेहतर बनाएंगे। हाल के वर्षों में, सीबीएसई ने उससे संबद्ध स्कूलों में व्यापक परीक्षा सुधार आरंभ किए हैं, जैसे कि, कक्षा-X की बोर्ड परीक्षा को वैकल्पिक बना दिया गया है, सतत् और व्यापक मूल्यांकन (सीसीई) सुदृढ़ किया गया है ताकि छात्रों को उनके समग्र विकास के लिए निरंतर आधार पर आंका जा सके, अंकों के स्थान पर ग्रेडि़ंग प्रणाली आरंभ की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य मौजूदा तंत्र पर ध्यान देना और ऐसे सुधारों का सुझाव देना है जिनसे छात्रों के बेहतर आकलन में मदद मिले।

*वाचन, लेखन, गणन यांच्या प्रारंभिक अध्ययनात विद्यार्थ्यांना अडचणी येतात. अक्षरातील साम्य, एकसारखेपणा यामुळे दोन अक्षरातील भेद ओळखणे कठीण जाते.काही अक्षरांचा उच्चार करणे अवघड जाते.गणन करतांना एखादा अंक गाळून पाठांतर केले जाते.

CCE is a good system. but implementation is still not proper. Teachers should be given training continuously and the there should be clarity in which tools should be used and how they should be used to develop the skill of a child. However if teacher has to implementnt CCE she should be relived of uneccessary clerical work.She should be given space to read and prepare innovative teaching and evaluation material necessary to assess the child. .

I strongly feel that if we say that every student should master all the concepts in one year and should be promoted to the next class is wrong . Sometimes a particular child should be allowed to repeat the same class for reinforcing his concept so that he develops the skill necessary to learn the next concept. With the present system of no detention we are just burdening the child who isgenuingly weak in academics with the next difficult concept and making him lose interest in learning.

१)नापास न करण्याच्या धोरणामुळे विद्यार्थी सर्व बाबतीत उदासीन बनले आहे. २)या मुल्यमापनात सर्व जबाबदारी शिक्षकावर टाकलेली आहे.विद्यार्थी आणि पालक उदासीन आहेत. श्रीम.निकम एस.एस.

The aim of the examination is totally wrong.Teacher's want to assess what a child doesn't know.we should have a system to evaluate what concepts the child knows.Unless Indian Education system starts working on concepts & skills rather than assessing knowledge we will not be able to produce TRUE LEADERS.Assess concept clarity not the Language at the same time.Reduce the student teacher ratio or everything will become mechanical without the heart and soul of teachers going into teaching.

The aim of CCE was to evaluate a child ,observe & understand the psychology so that we have a clear understanding of the child ,his behaviour ,strengths & weakness.Our system should concentrate on assessing the strengths of a child and imparting him the right skills from young age to enhance & discover his strengths.Before imparting skills in higher grades,give the child the confidence & insight towards his strengths & uniqueness at primary level.
