Sir, it says that co-ordination of body, mind and soul is a must for success in life and for generations people in India were aware that practicing yoga is the way to achieve it. Gradually people from countries round the world also were attracted to yoga due to its impact in day-to-day life as it was seen as a type of exercise and a meditative act that promotes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Though yoga was practiced in India and all around the world, it was not recognised by UN and no specific day was declared as international event day till 2014 until it was initially proposed by the Prime Minister on 27 September 2014 during his speech to the United Nations General Assembly. The proposal was supported by a whopping 177 countries and agreed to select June 21 as International Yoga Day. This was a huge diplomatic success of the Nation at UNGA as it is believed that this precious practice was originated in our Country about 5000 years ago.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी प्रणाम, देश की लोकतांत्रिक व्यवस्था में सुधार की आवश्यकता है। संविधान में केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों की संकल्पना थी जिसे बाद में परिवर्तित किया गया तथा कुछ में प्रशासकों या मुख्य महानगर पार्षद की जगह मुख्यमंत्री बनाया गया। यह प्रयास मूल संकल्पना के विरूद्ध है। दिल्ली का उदाहरण लें-यहा सभी विदेशी अतिथि आते हैं उनकी देखभाल आदि के लिए सभी शक्तियां केंद्र के अधीन आवश्यक हैं। विगत कुछ समय से कार्य विभाजन को लेकर कुछ समस्याएं उत्पन्न हो रही हैं। मेरा सुझाव है कि जिन-जिन केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में मुख्यमंत्री पद के स्तर का उन्नयन किया गया है उन्हें पुन: महानगर परिषद बनाते हुए उनका स्तर कम किया जाए इससे प्रशासनिक समस्याएं अपने आप समाप्त हो जाएंगी। प्रधानमंत्री जी यदि दिल्ली में पुन: 1993 वाली स्थिति बहाल करने की दिशा में निर्णय लिया जाए तो यह देश की राजधानी में रह रहे लोगों पर बहुत बडा उपकार होगा। वर्तमान व्यवस्था सफल नहीं है जिसके बुरे परिणाम सभी देख रहे हैं। मुझे अपेक्षाा है कि आप इस सुझाव को गंभीरता से लेते हुए दिल्ली में पुन: महानगर परिषद का गठन करायेगें। सादर
