State of Kerala is gifted with an attractive natural beauty. The history of development of this piece of land can be viewed in conjunction with the network of inland waterways, backwaters. Kerala was a destination of the west and far east from the time immemorial. The waterborne traffic was the backbone of the progress of Kerala. Tourism plays an important role in sustainance of the status of Kerala as God’s Own Country . Due to some accidents , tourism suffered a temporary set back in the recent past. In order to bring back the glory waterborne tourism in Kerala state, my self, a full time professor of Naval Architecture in a state University was involved in uplifting the safety standard of Tourist boats . Myself with active participation of my students have ensured safety standards in more than 500 tourist boats during 10 years. Under my mentorship one Start-up is also there . This is my contribution in ‘Academic Social Responsibility’. This is a model which can be extended

आदरणीय प्रिय मोदीजी मेरा आदरपूर्वक प्रणाम । आपसे मेरा यह विनम्र प्रार्थना है की आनेवाले lolth मन की बात episode में आप वीर सावरकरजी के जन्मदिन के बारे में प्रस्ताव करें। उनका राष्ट्रप्रेम ,त्याग, धैर्य, सामर्थ्य मनोबल, बुद्धिशक्ति के बारे में चर्च करें । सावरकरजी ने अपना सबकुछ भारत के लिये समर्पित कर दिया । कठिन से कठिन निराशादायक परिस्थितियों को भी अवकारा में बदलने का सामर्थ्य उनमें था। इन सबके बावजूद उन्हें जीवन में केवल यातना और अपमान का ही सामना करना पडा । उनके देशप्रेम पर नैतिकता पर सवाल उठायगया । मोदिजी बहुतलोग मुझे यह कहते हैं कि सावरकर जी तो अब नही रहें, तो उनके बारे में जानके या चर्चा करके क्या लाभ? पर क्या यह सही है? अगर सावरकर जी चाहते तो आरामदायक जीवन बिता सकते थे । फिर भी उन्होंने हमारे लिये अपना सबकुछ राष्ट्रोत्थान के यज्ञ में आहुति दे दिया । ऐसि महान व्यक्ति के बारे में अपशब्द सुनकर भी छुपरहना सही होग? जब आप आत्मनिर्भर होंगे तभी आप दाना डालकर फँसाने वाले शिकारी से बचेंगे । आप सभी को प्रतिदिन कुछ समय राष्ट्र चिंतन करना होगा और राष्ट्र चिंतन के लिए आत्मनिर्भर होना होगा। हम आत्मनिर्भर भारत के लोग ही वसुधैव कुटुंबकम् को जी सकते हैं । दमनकारी ,विभाजनकारी और देशविरोधी नीतियों का सामना करके ;उसे हरा सकते हैं।

प्रधानमंत्रीजी, मन की बात कार्यक्रम में भारत के गरीब विद्यार्थी को कहना चाहता हूँ कि आप आत्मनिर्भर होकर आगे की पढ़ाई सुनिश्चित करें। मैट्रिक पास करने के बाद गरीब बस्तियों में जाकर 40 बच्चों को पढ़ायें । बच्चों की माँ पिता से मात्र 2रू प्रतिदिन दक्षिणा ग्रहण करें और उस दक्षिणा को आगे की पढ़ाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बैंक में जमा करते जाएँ। आप बहुत बड़ा आदमी बनेंगे । यह मेरा विश्वास है ।

આદરણીય સાહેબ, હાલ માં ઉનાળો જ્યારે આકરો પડે છે અને પાણી ની સમસ્યા ખુબ રહે છે ત્યારે અમારા ખંભાત માં અમને વારસા માં મળેલ ખંભાતી મીઠા પાણી ના ટાંકા નો ઉપયોગ ખુબજ અસરકારક નીવડે છે, જો દરેક જણ હાલ માં નવું ઘર બનાવે છે તો એમને પાણી માટે ટાંકા ની જરૂર પડે છે તો આ ટાંકા માં વરસાદ નું પાણી જો વાળવા માં આવે તો ઉનાળા ની પરિસ્થિતી માં પીવા ના પાણી ની સમસ્યા દૂર થઈ શકે છે તેમજ આ પાણી ના ટાંકા પર જો રૂમ હોય તો સામાન્ય પંખા થી ઠંડક મળી શકે જેના થી AC માં વપરાતા વીજ પાવર ની બચત પણ થઈ શકે. વરસાદ નું આ પાણી લાંબા સમય સુધી સંગ્રહિત કરી શકાય છે અને હાલ ના આરો પ્લાન્ટ ના પાણી કરતાં પણ સારું પાણી મળી શકે જે આરોગ્ય માટે પણ સારું રહે છે. બીજું કે આ પાણી જો મઘા નક્ષત્ર નું ભરવા માં આવે તો ઉતમ પાણી ગણી શકાય છે. આ પાણી માં દેસી રીત માટે માટી અને ફટકડી પણ નાખી શકાય છે, આ ટાંકા પર સૂર્યપ્રકાશ ના આવવો જોઈએ તે પણ હિતવાહ છે, આપને વિનંતી છે કે આ બાબતે આપ ખંભાત ના અનુભવી લોકો ને પૂછી શકો છો, સમગ્ર દેશ ના લોકો આપના થકી જો આવું કરે તો ભવિષ્ય સારું છે. જીગર પટેલ ના જાય સ્વામિનારાયણ
