Under Smart City Mission Stage 2 challenge, the Municipal Corporation of Karnal has received tremendous response from its citizen in smart city suggestions and ideas.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Karnal Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Field Visits, Stakeholders Consultation, essay, submission of suggestion forms, vision statements, social media (Facebook ,Google+ and Twitter) based activities, citizen awareness campaigns Mera Sujhav , Mera sankalp etc. to ensure that every citizen (encompassing all age groups and sections of society) must participate in Smart City Proposal making exercise.
