The Pasighat Municipal Council is conducting a MyGov Discussion Forum for its “Draft Smart City Proposal”. The proposal has been prepared taking into account citizens priorities and aspirations as part of the Round 2 of the "Smart City Challenge”.

In the past few months we all have worked hard towards making Pasighat a Smart and a credible city. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analysed to articulate the vision, goals and how the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposalis going toimprove the life of its residents.

The Citizen Interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed in developing this Smart City Proposal. The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

Give your valuable feedback and suggestions to help in refining and finalizing the proposal.

I appreciate the solar energy generated proposal in pasighat. In a smart city there will be thousand numbers of solar street lights. And once it installed, it will be lasted for hardly 3 years and then maintenance will be must.Especially replacement of battery will be must and that will cost high budget. What my point is that, can concern authority could manage such maintenance in future? If not, then changes should be made in this regard for final draft publication of Psg Smart city proposal.

Pasighat is one of the oldest town in arunachal pradesh, that why there are many old govt. quarters which is not use yet but some people illegally occupied them and also nearby open land and make fencing wall, built building etc. so there were no any open land for smart city development.

Page no.37 of Draft, showing 2 lane, as a citizen of pasighat iam not satisfied that.I want to suggest that, all the roads should be 4 lanes or more, space of walking and parking place on road, on edge of the both sides of road one small canal or pipeline for various utilities like, Gas line, electricity line, telephone line, and other required utilities, while on second side water canal with solar penal should be installed.

Another point which is not mentioned in the Draft proposal is regarding common graveyard. Today it may not be a problem but in near future common graveyard will be a must. We should think about the future. Land is not going to expand, and since we have the opportunity in our hand to mold our future lets think of an area which will be suitable for common graveyard and with lots of greenery. In future land acquisition will be a big problem.
