The Government of India issued guidelines for the promotion of payments through cards and digital means on 29th February, 2016. The guidelines can be seen (here). A Committee was also constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Ayog and Former Finance Secretary with key industry stakeholders, RBI and concerned Government Departments to review medium term measures necessary to promote the digital payment system in the Country. The Committee’s report can be seen here.

The Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India invites public Comments / suggestions on the report. We invite you to read the report and provide your valuable feedback and suggestions by 11th January 2017. The final decision on the Report will be taken after considering the comments/suggestions received on the Report.

1.Private-schools and coaching-lasses pay teachers cash and ask for receipts larger. Bring law to force them to pay cheques or into bank accounts. 2. Make above procedure compulsory for all daily wage labourers with Jan Dhan Account. 3.Pyatm requires smart-phones. Procedure for non-smart-phones(most people have) is unpractical. All registered shops be mandated to keep POS. 2% extra charge for POS should be waived or bourn by banks.

I talked to my maid today and asked her to do digital payments and even told her that i would help her.But she is not ready to operate all these things as she is illiterate and does not want his husband to operate her account(because his husband consumes alcohol and will spend all of her money).I think some small programmes specially for womens should be launched which provides them training to operate mobiles, ATM's to do digital payments.These programmes should be done in evening time.

introduce sessions of cashless transaction ask all bank to go to collages & universities where students are above 18+ and make them aware and then convince them to open account in their bank in this way will get new accounts and business for bank and our youth will be aware of digital transaction

for physically handicap people train them for digital payments options give these disable people training convert them digital guru and offer them both digital skill training centre cum mobile recharges .These people will educate and train or solve FAQ of common man want to learn or seek help for learning cashless or digitalisation query Train widows of government servants retired person willing to work offer them both in all areas of every 5km across country .
