The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE), in collaboration with MyGov, invites comments and suggestions from stakeholders and the general public on the draft accessibility standards for the Services Sector. These draft standards, which identify non-negotiable rules, have been prepared to strengthen the creation of barrier-free environments in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and relevant rules.

All interested individuals are requested to carefully examine the proposed standards and submit their feedback, comments, and suggestions on the MyGov platform, ensuring that personal details are entered accurately during registration.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, जितने भी Private College है PPP (Public Private Partnarship)model में बनवाना चाहिए। छात्रावास अनिवार्य रूप से उपलब्ध हो। ताकि सड़क दुघर्टना और प्रदूषण से बचा जा सके।

Physical Accessibility: - Mandate ramps, tactile signages, accessible counters, and barrier-free paths in all public-facing service locations. 3. Digital Accessibility: - All websites, apps, and digital interfaces should comply with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1 or higher. 4. Communication Accessibility: - Ensure availability of sign language interpreters, captioning, braille materials, and easy-to-read formats. 5. Grievance Redressal: - Include an accessible and time-bound mechanism for addressing accessibility complaints in all service sectors. Suggestions: 1. Mandatory Sensitization Training: - Service staff should undergo training on disability etiquette, inclusive communication, and assistive support. 2. Involvement of PwDs: - Persons with Disabilities
