The Draft is a major step in India’s move toward inclusive, barrier-free services for persons with disabilities (PwDs). Under the RPwD Act, there is a legal obligation on service-providers in all sectors to ensure accessibility of services and environments. The Draft standard for the services sector builds upon this by articulating “non-negotiable rules” for service creation and delivery in this sector.

I am writing to suggest a proposal that could promote a sense of equality and reduce the misuse of power among politicians. I humbly suggest that only cars owned by politicians who are currently holding a government position, such as MLAs or MPs, should be allowed to display the party flag on their vehicles. This would help to: - Promote a sense of equality among citizens and politicians - Reduce the misuse of power and privilege - Discourage nepotism and favoritism - Encourage politicians to be more accountable and responsive to the people By implementing this suggestion, politicians and their families may be less likely to engage in activities that are not in line with the principles of public service. I believe that this small step could go a long way in promoting transparency, accountability, and a sense of responsibility among our elected representatives. Thank you for considering my suggestion.
