Dear madam, women keep asking for equality all the time but when the talk is about perks they want it all for themselves. Women don't want to share these equally with men. This policy is discriminatory in nature. It neglects welfare of boys, who are falling behind in education because of being forced to drop out of schools, to provide livelihood to their families. It discriminates disabled men by extending advantages only to disabled women. This policy should not be allowed to be implemented.

Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) believes that the Policy recognises a wide range of cross-cutting rights that women are entitled to, together with rampant human rights violations faced by them. The Policy’s vision to create an enabling and empowering environment for women to be able to realise their full potential and exercise greater freedoms is welcomed. However, the policy lacks language of urgency towards addressing the mentioned issues.

1. Make laws that are gender neutral. Are males not victims of domestic violence? Are males not sexually abused?
2. There are no provisions to save guard the Interest of mothers and sisters.
3. Dowry and rape laws are widely misused. Pls. Check NCRB data 99% 498A (legal terrorism in India) and 76% of rape law is used as a tool for extortion. Provision must be made such that those misusing law are also punished equally. Believe me 50% of burden of courts and police will be reduced.

This draft is too gender biased and ignored men/boys as citizen of India, I think these policies are to take away all rights from men and treat them as slaves in their own country. There is no focus on equality; this is high time for the need of Men ministry as well.

Earn my vote by making this country with gender neutral laws. This policy shows the motive of bias against boys/men. Before introducing such policy did the govt thought about male suicides in India which is double than women? No laws in favor of men & 40+ r favoring women which motivates them to file fake cases. Have the govt thought of punishing such women who files fake cases instead of introducing new policies. Please review attached "My Comments & Review on the National Policy for Women".

Key suggestions to bring gender equality and social reform which will really change the India to a more complete, gratified society having respect both for men and women in society. The present policy instead of serving to women will create more hatred towards men in the society.

Poorly drafted policy, why discrimination between GENDERS?
Why do you want forced sterilization of males when it doesn't even fall under the ministry.
Stop being biased plz focus on male child welfare else no one will work for any projects like #MakeInIndia & #Transforming India as projected these days by Modi govt for progress of India as today's children are tomororw's future.
STOP discrimination between male and girl child. Let's empower todays youth.

The Policy should focus on Social and Economic Development.Women development should not be at cost of Life of Men. For that, the Gender biased laws need to be either removed or made gender neutral.Men, by default has to provide for their Mothers, Sisters, Wife and Daughters too. When he suffers from fake cases, it cause immense economic problems to these Women. Atleast strong rules should be there to punish those making fake cases equivalent to maximum punishment of the case made by them.
