effortto develop the resource centers for the rural women where they can get an environment to upgrade their skills, gain knowledge, meat together to share their achievements and failure without any hesitation and feel free to share their problems in themselves. This resource centers may work as information center for themselves. the resource center manager can bring multi component information dissemination under one umbrella and encourage women to get benefit of different prog.

Under Social Security, Point iii it is suggested that
(i) Feeding Room should be maintained in workplace with adequate infrastructure
(ii) Official tour for working women with child under age of 1 year should be avoided due to breastfeeding
(iii) Maternity Act should be applicable in uniformity for all women, irrespective they are working in government or private organisation or hired as consultant/out source staff in government/PSUs.

Efforts should be upped in imparting (& upgrading the standards) secondary skills (such as sericulture, handcrafting) to rural women which make them independent &serve as Secondary occupation to their farm households-especially in the age of farmer suicides!
Other Benefits
1. Large scale production and promotion of our unique and creative products on international market
2. Preserve our cultural heritage and identity that is passed on from generation to generation
3. Self Dependent villages

We are saying that Govt is giving free education to girls, where it is ? Schools are charging amounts more than 50000 for admissions.
1. Make girl education free in ALL schools. (Covering, Govt, Private, Convent etc)
2. Stop all pictures and messages which are giving popularity to dowry. TV Serials and movies should be used for positive education.
3. Think what are bad so called rules in our society which are against woman. Eliminate them, e.g. Dowry

Encouraging meritorious woman to become school teachers needs to be focused upon in the first phase which needs to be an activity coordinated by MHRD/DSE and State Governments. The Department of Science and Technology has constituted a Standing Committee for promoting Women in Higher Education specially Science & Technology. The OM is attached.

Loans/Funds given to Women for starting Cottage Industries or any such entrepreneurial endeavor at their homes itself can be recovered by way of soft interest rates, which could pave the way for more & more women to be independent & instill confidence to work for a living, thereby upgrading their dreary estate & contributing their mite for the development of our country as a whole. The subservient status and the inferior human being tag attached to Women should be eradicated.

Women who have less qualification & not able to get good jobs in a secular setup should be empowered & funded adequately to start some cottage industry on a miniscule level, which will build confidence in them to earn wages of their own in order to support their families. This will also build community services where like-minded women get together to do something constructive for the good of society, thereby contributing their bit for the country's improvement.

This Policy of Empowerment of Women should be taken up seriously & also keenly followed to ensure that concrete measures are taken in order to implement whatever pressing issues have been spoken about so far. Whether WORK environment or LEISURE like TRAVEL with family etc., Women are given a very raw deal in our country. We are always treated as being inferior beings and subjected to every conceivable humiliation & subordination until our very Spirits are broken within.

I know this sounds very forward, but i strongly believe that basic sex education must be made compulsory in school for all children. Children need to be taught to differentiate between good touch and bad touch and be shown the way to report bad influences. They need to understand what their bodies are and to never be ashamed of who they are. this doesnt seem like it is specific for women, but to help women live better lives, we need to educate not just women and girls but the men and boys also!

Already Ministry of Finance on 8.8.2014 has issued its circular and instructions for CMDs of Public Sector Banks to take care while doing transfer/ posting of women and minimise their hardships. I request you to ensure that these are complied with in practice as still these instructions of ministry are being unashamedly mocked at and ignored by the executives and authorities. Also the point is that any policy that is made should be followed practically and not just on papers.
