Respected Madam, Govt should definitely bring more policies to empower women and girls from various sections of the society but at the same time it should bring strict laws to curb the rise in fake cases filed by women for personal grudges or monetary benefits. We have great expectations from this govt in terms of women empowerment and at the same time strict laws to curb false cases filed by women.

Why there is separate law for women in our country while availing maternity benefits.Law itself divisions the women.(Just like some part of India Two wheeler pillion riders need not to wear helmets but the same time the riding person must wear it..... that means law is not ensuring protection to their life ) E.g., Maternity leave is Six months in Govt. and Three Months in private institutions??Truly Partiality...New policies should remove all the discriminations within it via timely amendments.

Kindly make provisions to appoint thousands of professionally qualified Psychiatric Social Workers in the new policy 2016.They can work with women in empowerment, conducting various program for gender equality in schools and village levels from primary standards. They can work with the family at grassroots level.Their appointment should be on the grounds of permanent posts but not under projects because this is an endless initiative and will take time to change the societies views.

Respected Minister,
If evil demands of a wife/DIL are not met, she could get her husband, his elderly parents, unmarried sisters, pregnant sister-in-laws arrested just by making a false complaint of dowry harassment.
The Apex Court has acknowledged this abuse and termed it as "legal terrorism".
Please do not make men feel ashamed of being born in this country and run away to other places. Please make strict laws for the women who misuse anti-dowry laws. Please save Indian Families.

i am thankful to the gov to provide us right to suggest the gov.there is a need to implement uniform civil code in country to avoid the exploitation of women in the name of culture.and there should be single window system for women. we can exept CCC formula first C means consultancy for their education,health...etc second C means care like security third C means career like job opportunities for all age group girls after 18.

ma'm , first of all I like the way you arranged the priority points. Health , Education and Economy.. I guess it's superb effort as if women are having good health , Education and if Financially independent , Most of them can raise their voice against Domestic violence or dowry demand. Cyber space safety is praise worthy effort. even we all witnessed that any girl comment on your post on your social media page , they have to suffer abuse for sure in next comment.

ma'm I am highly impressed by your work. Now my many of the friends following you on Social media. Even I mentioned you in a task "Citizen's Duties"
well, some people are raising the point of misusing the Law. I would like to say as k any woman how long she has to go to use the law. misuse is the second point. Most of the women are dependent on husband or parents and who are financially independent have a society. when they are struggling to use law, How it comes to misuse..!!!

suggestion -- (A)while empowering women all efforts should be to strengthen family which is the basis of society, not to weaken it,(B)merge same purpose schemes& institutions under principle of one-work-one-agency--. In social sector, different schemes with same objectives/target beneficiary, are being run only because no one is willing to merge same purpose schemes.Institutions & schemes which survive on public money, must be few and focused(C)More Transparent System of release of money to NGOs

//Traditional knowledge of women including healing practices will be promoted for
indigenous treatment systems in remote areas.// - sounds like a bad idea. The focus should be not to keep them remote.
//Women constitute majority of population affected by poverty. Efforts for assessment of
the incidence of poverty by gender estimates will be done as household estimates do
not provide gender poverty estimates. // - looks like you made a conclusion before even taking an estimate.
