The statue reminds us of atrocities and barbarism committed on our countrymen during colonial rule. Even after 75 years of ending colonial rule in our country, we are still having colonial rulers statue in a premier institute which produces defenders of this country in the form of officers of National Defence Academy. The young cadets should have a role model statue which inspires them and instills Deshbhakti, love and affection towards Maatrubhoomi and which reminds the sacrifices of our fore fathers towards ending colonial rule in this country. A statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is better suited for that Institute as he led Azaad Hind Fouj and made the colonial rulers to get away from this country. Jai Hind...
