As always, the Prime Minister invites you to share your ideas on topics he should address. So what are the themes, issues or topics that you want the Prime Minister to speak about?

Sir, Why don't we open up growing Sandalwood, Rose and Teak trees to general public ? As I understand, the current law makes government the owner of these trees, even if they are grown in private land. In Australia, they have taken up Sandalwood tree plantation in big way, and if India does not act soon, we will end up importing this as well.

पॉलीथिन की समस्या एक ऐसी समस्या है जिस पर व्यापक जनजागृति की भी आवश्यकता है क्योंकि कोई भी योजना बिना जनता के सहयोग के सफल होना संभव नहीं है, अतः "मन की बात" कार्यक्रम में इस मुद्दे को उठाने के साथ साथ इस संबंध में एक कारगर नीति बनाने की भी आवश्यकता है। कोई भी नीति अपने क्रियान्वयन के आधार पर ही सफल या असफल सिद्ध होती है अतः ऐसी नीति का ठोस व कारगर क्रियान्वयन किया गया तो यह हमारी भावी पीढ़ी, बेज़ुबान पशुओं, और खुद को एक उपहार होगी।

Sir Now coming to sports in India. It is advisable to enforce sports as subject in the school level and encourage the children in their interesting filed of sports. once in a week there should be sports for all standards. select the best students and give them free support like fees, nutrition, gym facility and coach them under govt paid coaches and make them strong sports men. if we make the children addict to sports from the childhood then they can become best when they grow.continued

For single match box there is a MRP rate...but why there is no fixed MRP for vegetables and fruits to get the benefit to the former..There should be one fixed MRP for all types vegetables and fruits...so many farmers are getting suicide due to there is no profits for doing agriculture...Govt need to support the farmers by fixing the profitable MRP rate for all types of vegetables and fruits..

पॉलीथिन बैग्स के विकल्प के रूप में कागज़ या कपडे के बैग्स के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा दिया जा सकता है, यह उन लोगों को रोजगार भी उपलब्ध करवायेगा जो इनके निर्माण से जुड़े हुए है या जुड़ेंगे।

पॉलीथिन बैग्स पर पूर्ण और प्रभावी रूप से प्रतिबन्ध लगना चाहिए। जनता में इस संबंध में जागृति का प्रसार किया जाना चाहिए तथा इसके दुष्परिणामो के बारे में सचेत किया जाना चाहिए। पॉलीथिन बैग्स के उपयोग और निर्माण पर प्रभावी रूप से रोक लगाने के लिए एक प्रभावी नीति और उसके प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन की आवश्यकता है। यह पशुओं(गायों), फसलों,पर्यावरण और स्वच्छता के लिए खतारनाक है।
