Sir, My thoughts on "seva" and "Suraksha". I have attached my view. We need more facilities for Elderly, disabled(handicapped, blind) people in public places and on public transport(airports, trains, buses), Also people and all staff havs to learn how to treat them with great manner, give them priority to avoid all queue. For Suraksha(secuirty) I suggest introduce Security schemes, services, more CCTV camera on public places, on public transport to reduce crime. Jai Hind Rachit

In the name of Development at what cost are we compromising on the quality of Nature in cities. Many buildings are not even compliant as per construction guidelines . Since there is corruption in real estate and strong nexus with all political parties (including BJP) , there is hardly any greenery in cities and we are also on the verge of destroying villages in the name of smart cities.Though you cited "Zero Defect , Zero Effect" . How effectively is that implemented is a serious qn?

There is lot of burden on working class in terms of taxes For example , Working Class has to pay income tax , if they go to grocery they end up paying VAT and finally when they withdraw PF amount even that is taxed. Whatever we save as a Bank Fixed Deposit, that too is taxed , so when we are having so much tax, why can't income tax be made mandatory only for income above 1 Crore . This is burning a big hole in the pocket of Common man.

To ensure that society becomes more responsible towards aged parents/in-laws, there should be tax concessions for expenditure to support them. Today, there are tax rebates for health policy for parents but not for in-laws! In a situation where in-laws don't have house to stay, if son-in-law decides to construct a home, there should be special concessions. This will go a long way in supporting the aged in-laws.

You are aware that there are too much of deliberations on saving Nature and Ecology. But, very little is being done to protect the wild animals - which are getting killed due to various reasons. Keeping the reasons in isolation, some drastic action must be taken to ensure that natural habitats are protected before they become extinct, as some of the wild life species have already become extinct. I urge you to make-up your mind in solving this grave issue of protecting wild life.

Please talk to us about the incidents of RAPE in your next Mann ki Baat. The mindset of the people at large has to change. Please appeal to our mothers - who tell their daughters how to conduct themselves in society, but, let their sons do what they want. The mothers must teach their sons, from an early age, to respect women. Your appeal will go a long way. While this may not have immediate visible effect, this may induce mothers to play a proactive role in the right upbringing of their sons
