Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said India’s G20 agenda will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented, and decisive, establishing a presidency of healing, harmony, and hope.

Automation and ground-breaking technological advancements are fundamentally changing the nature of work in more than one way. Trends such as demographic transitions and technological changes such as Industry 4.0, Web 3.0, and extended reality technology bring immense possibilities that will forever change lives. This would imply significant workplace transformations and changes in the future of work that would be beyond human imagination. And to thrive in this new ‘World of Work,’ it is vital that skilling stakeholders comprehend these new trends and capacitate the existing education and skilling ecosystems.

Therefore, basis the announcements made in the ongoing discussions in the G20 Education Working Group 2023, the key takeaways about the future of the work are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:

• The G20 Education Working Group has deliberated on pathways to make technology-enabled learning more inclusive, qualitative, and collaborative at every level.
• With the rise of automation across industries, it is imperative to mainstream foundational skills into the curriculum framework and facilitate dynamic learning over the life cycle to not only effectively measure the learning outcomes but also ensure people keep pace with the current factors of change. Education stakeholders must collaborate and focus on strengthening the foundational learning framework by leveraging technology and blended learning to ensure that students are equipped with the necessities for the future.
• The future of work is driven by the rising awareness of decarbonization and building a sustainable business, and the G20 countries recognise the importance of collective action in tackling environmental challenges as well as promoting transitions towards more flexible, transparent, and cleaner energy systems.

Increasing recycling industries both large and small scale industries can be a new domain of work advancement. Recycling of waste such as plastic, old rubber tyres, clothes, electric batteries generated from cars/ buses can be up-scaled. Even waste from agriculture industry should be encouraged for recycling. Some relaxation can be given to the recycling industry in order to boost it. For instance, giving tax rebates, easy loan provisions or relaxation in purchasing a industrial land for setting up recycling units, having workshops at school and college level. This can promote people to built a business in recycling. This will also provide new job opportunities.

Improving work culture and work ethics is one of the need of hour. In developing India, several start-up and small scale industries are flourishing. However, these industries have poor work ethics and this leads to exploitation of labor force. Often, salaries are low, working hours are long, jobs are contractual. This brings the working class into a vulnerable positions, where they lack job security. It also affects mental & physical health of an individual. Where stronger labor laws can help to protect employment rights. But on individual level owner of a start-up or a small scale industry need to implement good working practices at the organizations. Instead of only having focus on the profits made, some attention should be given on the working environment at the work stations. This can be done by organizing training sessions/ or some reading documents/ guidelines, which the upcoming business professional can implement & maintain in their organization to have healthy work practices.

Don't hesitate to learn for the future to save the future of work. The companies they work for should keep an eye on news related to their sector. Every worker should be aware of the trend of the sector. the.We get an introduction to technologies by attending industry fairs or exhibitions. It is not written that only entrepreneurs should participate in trade fairs, workers should also participate. We must know the arrival of new machines & new technologies. Workers should also know about MSME trainings, training in Prime Minister's Employment Creation Scheme, short term trainings. SWAYAM , Open Universities should provide career related education. No matter how hard we work, our future is in question if we do not try to learn about the modern technologies that are relevant to our work. Workers should also familiarize themselves with the government entrepreneurship schemes that are relevant to their profession.

Workers need to be well-versed with the technologies that can evolve depending on the job. Taking training on how to use those technologies can avoid layoff risks. Multi-skills should be developed. Work involves learning new technologies. Workers also need to know their profession or their favorite manufacturing work, service work, entrepreneurship. The workers should read the news magazines published in the sector depending on the technical development, its development training details and the market conditions. It is better to be cautious. They need to know how to operate new machines and technologies related to their work. All workers should be trained to keep pace with the changing times. Workers can save their jobs if they realize that extra skill - extra opportunity - extra income. Learning something will only create more opportunities. There is no age limit for learning. Skill development is essential to achieve anything in a competitive world

it's high time to introduce NEP2020. Our education system is not for any kind of industry readiness not any self employment. as a result, Yong generations are bound to work under already existing companies. Educational institutions shall be engaged for projects then students get to get in-hand experience. this include engineering and management institutes.

Jai Hind Sir, Please allow general public to visit Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan,State level Vidhan Sabha, MCDs, North & South Blocks etc on "Pay Per Visit" model. Atleast general public should have options to visit these place in order view and witness real scenarios that they watch on televisions or news channel. There should be online ticket booking system as well ticket counters at these places too. Today in order to visit these places either we need some reference from higher authority or most of people even dont know if they can visit auch place at free will just by buying tickets to witness live working procedures of Indian democracy.
