Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. We hereby request you to provide us your valuable insights and suggestions on the proposal.

We can also run AC Double Decker Trains for long DISTANCES. TO MAKE SMART CITY FIRST WE SHOULD CREATE SUCH A TRANSPORT SYSTEM WHICH SHOULD NOT NEED UPGRADATION FOR NEXT 25YRS. JUST LIKE HOW THE BRITISH DID ON CST-THANE RAIL AND ROADS. We can Construct underground subways Tube Trains and Local Trains in short phases through PPP and provision for further extention below ground for our future generations. with escape plans IN ANY EVENT OF DISASTER OR FLOOD

why dont build SEZ in kalyan and shift some of the big companies to there because most of the people are traveling from kalyan ambharnath badlapur and so on to navi mumbai Airoli it will save time and energy of the people it will also creat compatriot for NMMC  as land is  available for build the SEZ so why should waist

Dear PM Sir first of all thank you for having vision for future of our country. And thanks for allowing people to play active part in the planning & development of our country Sir I would suggest to First distribute the load the Govt. and pvt Offices situated in Main city of Mumbai to Sub urban cities along all three Lines viz HARBOUR, CENTRAL, WESTERN. So that load on Railways during morning Hrs will b reduced.Secondly Run shuttle trains between Kalyan khopoli,kalyan- Kasara & Thane- Pnvl

Their r many problem with our development plan ,first their should be removal of pavement block as they gets cave in at all places that should be noted and contractor should be banned from doing any other work if found guilty ,their should be appointment of volunteer from local public who should have powers to ask questions to contractor on any other official who r involved in any kind of shoddy work because only a local person can understand the problem being faced by them
