The Municipal Corporation Tirupati is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Round 2 for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). ...

The Municipal Corporation Tirupati is pleased to inform you that our city has been selected under Round 2 for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). Round 2 of smart cities challenge is been provided to 54 cities to upgrade their proposals whose city is not covered in the list of 20. Tirupati is one of them! In this phase, our city has to compete with 54 other cities, enhance our proposal and become eligible for funding in 2016-17.

The city needs to refine its vision, strategic focus, mission and a proposal based upon Gap assessment and suggestions received from panel of expert and MoUD. We urge you to share your ideas and be an integral part of the journey towards making Tirupati a smart city! Read the Draft Smart City Proposal

Can you ensure that every resident of tirupati gets a stomach full of food a decent shelter fresh water and is able to send his/her children to a decent school? I do not see any if these objectives in the way smartness is defined. It is nit technological it has to benefit a resident.He/she has to be the happiest to live and lead a free life.

All the effort of making a city smart will go in vein if there is no proper waste disposal system.So waste disposal plant that converts bio waste into inflammable oils or fuels should have to be first priority for government.As money will get involved in this initiative,peoples/businessmens will automatically gets attracted in doing all the waste collection work and thus city will remain clean for long.

**air traveling on to be provided from Thirupathi to tirumala.** all devotees must be co ordinated with Devotee Mithras who appointed by ttd.to avoid thefts,cheating.** separate accommodation s to be deveolloped for state wise and for nris. ** we need to motivate each devotee to b planted minimum a plant in tirumala Thirupathi. **passengers waiting halls to be developed digitally in each railelway bust and s. ** electronic display boards to be made consisting of darshanam timings.
