The role of new and renewable energy has been increasing significantly in recent times with the growing concern for the country's energy security. Since the Real Estate Act has been recently enacted, it is recommended that the same be amended to include 'all buildings of all types should be provided with solar panels on the roof to provide for the power requirements of the users in such buildings'. This would ensure that builders and developers will install solar power panels and reduce dependency on power utilities/suppliers and also reduce pollution in a major way.

I am Anand Pai staying in Hubli, Karnataka State. My contact details are: +919449781603 and geetanand123@gmail.com. My interest is to convert the soft power systems of my residence on solar power. The other system would be continued on the Govt power. As the investment is to the tune of Rs.1 lakh, I find it not feasible. Can the Govt. think of giving some support to people like me so that the power generation load gets reduced and thereby the emissions etc?

We can also utilise our trains kinetic energy by deploing a whole single coach at the back-side of whole train with full of rechargeble battries so that we can utilise the kinetic energy of train and then after it gets fully charge we can either use it to provide power to that particular train's coach only / we can use it in either way.

I think we should try for solar street lights for each Gov. deprt. And in each and every municipal jurisdiction to cut the usage of artificial sources. I will mainly advise for (RPG) ROAD POWER GENERATER to utilise the waistage of 1000s of amount of kinetic energy on our heavily packed roads bu 1000s of vehicle. And also we van use a vaccum sucksuned toilet in trains to save plenty of water waistage in trains and on stations.

1) Subsidies - Solar cars, where ever possible install solar panels on roofs of home, trains roof, rly stn platform, caps etc. This power generated should be easily trf to main grid of power lines. People should have option to sell power to govt. 2) Innovate idea to generate power from mechanical energy - Like Power generator shoes & sandals, tiles in rly stn & crowded areas 3) On energy saving part - Subsides sensor equipment which help to auto shut power / lights when no one around.

Railway can store rain water in storage tank near by station premises and use this water while station cleaning or supply nearest Railway colony for washing cloths and wash dish. This water can store and supply rural area where shortage of water through Railway water Tanker.
