Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

so far such anti encroachment drives have been proved to be a joke !! its all a result of vicious circle of corruption prevailing in all the authorities responsible !!! Encroachment should be checked weekly in all the wards and hope the team ensures that this place should not be encroached again

n the past few months,Allahabad Municipal Corporation has undertaken a number of initiatives to get the valuable feedback of its citizens as we believe that is central to defining the vision and choosing the way forward for Smart City Allahabad . So far, the received citizen feedback has been carefully noted, analysed and incorporated in the way forward. Face to face interaction, focus group meetings, online polls, seminars and educative conferences

In my view, Allahabad city is one of the best spot for education and career. This city includes every career possibilities from start to higher studies like post graduation. Apart from this, it is also best suited for tourism spot as various beautiful places like Sangam, Anand bhawan etc have made this city a heaven like place. The telecommunication field is little bit a weak area and this should be improved for better lifestyle and communication for all.
