Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) is a part of the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. It deals with the tasks of formulation of policy concerning levy and collection of Customs & Central Excise duties and Service Tax, prevention of smuggling and administration of matters relating to Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax and Narcotics to the extent under CBEC's purview.

The current Customs Business Services are being catered through a set of independent applications;CBEC now envisages an integrated platform for providing services through a single application. The new application is envisioned to be built as a high-end futuristic platform which is robust and scalable.

CBEC invites suggestions to improve upon the Customs Business Services namely Cargo Clearance, Courier clearance, Postal clearance, SEZ – Customs clearance, Passenger clearance and Baggage clearance.

We request you to provide your valuable suggestions for improvement in the following:

- Cargo Clearance
- Courier
- Postal
- SEZ- Customs Clearance
- Baggage Clearance
- Passenger Clearance

Note:

-The last date for submitting suggestions is 15th September 2016
-Please restrict your comments to 1000 characters. In case your comments exceed 1000 characters, please upload your suggestions as a pdf document.
-The nature of suggestions should be in form of improvements in the current Business Processes
-The suggestions submitted will be reviewed by competent authorities before considering incorporating the same into the new integrated platform scope if found required.

#mygov #departmentofrevenue #finance #tax #ministryoffinance #cbec #Central Board of Excise and Customs Import of goods in the country is Plagued with Custom duty evasion by under invoicing ,there is no thorough follow-up to check it&worst there is no action taken on complaints filed. My complaint to DRI OF LARGESCALE UNDERINVOICING LYING UNHEEDED SINCE6th August 2015,provided all the details but no action taken. What is the use of inviting suggestions/complaints?

I purchased education material online. Same was dispatched by the supplier from Malaysia on 15 Aug thru post, same reached at Delhi Foreign Post off on 18th August, 2016. since that parcel pending at post office. I contact at the concern office on 29th Aug. 2016 and the officer inform this parcel will deliver at my address by adding custom duty. I requested to take cash immediate which refused. My request is to fast deliver process so that consumer can avail govt. postal services instead of pvt.

Custom authorities must realise that any citizen coming at India should feel like home. If this kind of atmosphere we can provide then image of Indian custom authorities will be changed. We must be strict but politely think about image of tourism and hospitality industries. A tourist or citizen must force to think that India is in changing mode due to attitude of custom officers at port or airports or in establishment. Thanks

The custom department of India is the key of organised people of India who r trying to monopolised import or export for their own interest .it should be penetration in all process like hs code ...online duty rate same for all describe...online process to pay custom duty ..sesl and sign of custom department should be always on receipt ....custom department is gov agency but its work for interest for international transport agency who increased freight charges It should be belogs with sales

There has to be some accountability fixed on the customs officers. They are the interface for the tourists. 1st impression of our country is created through them. If they end up robbing the people and go unchecked, it is very much outrageous and we are aggravated a lot. My friend lost a hard drive which he had his memorable collections of his whole life. Though he raised a concern but there is no one to hear him. This pain will live with him for his entire life. Its a white collar robbery.
