Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Last date of submission is 15th June, 2018, 05:00PM

आदरनिये श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जीआपसे निवेदन है बिजली बिल में बहुत ज्यादा गरबारी आरही है जिसके कारण जानता को उपयोग से अधिग बिल आरही है, जिसका मुख्य कारण अनट्रेंड मीटर रीडिंग कर्मचारी है। जिन्हें ये तक पता होता है कि मीटर पर जो अंकित रीडिंग है वह किस पे बनाया जाय कभी वो ओके पर बिल बनाता है तो कभी रीसायकल पे बिल बनाता है उनकी गलती की खामियाजा आम जनता तो अधिक बिल भुकतान कर के चुकाना पड़ता है। इसकी शिकायत जनता अगर आबेदन देकर किसी बिभागीय उच्च अधकारी से की भी जाती। है तो बिक सुधर होने में बिलंब होता है

Respected Shri Modiji, Iknow, Beti Bachao,Beti Padhao is your favourite idea.But Sir,what is theuse if this beti has to pay dowry at the time of marriage and incur heavy marriage expenses. Actually, this is the reason why there is large scale murder of girl child immediately they are born or sometimes, even before their birth. Parents cannot afford the huge amount of dowry and overall expenses on marriage-which is on incre- in your next Mann Ki Baat,will you pl.talk on this ?

Nature protection is most important for maintaining diversity of species. The proposed refinery at Ratnagiri district will cause huge damage to the western ghats. This refinery can be put in vidharba. A tank terminal can be put in Ratnagiri to receive the crude and pump it to vidharba.

1. To improve R & D in the country to the top level in the world 2. To increase agricultural production per hectare, so as to export agricultural produce. 3. To reduce production cost for the industrial produce so as to compete with china. 4. To reduce the import, and to increase export to go for current account surplus. 5. To reduce import from China, which is helping a terrorist country – Pakistan. 6. To improve the condition of our villages and towns to international standard.
