Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Last date of submission is 15th June, 2018, 05:00PM

As we all know that Mahatma ji also wanted peace and hqrmony for that he had exolained us that we all are one coz,our parents is one,our GOD! therefore he said that we don't deffer on the basis of ST,SC,OBC,Forward class,Muslim, Christian,Parsi,Sikh or any other division or sub-division which divides us,coz,we should live together,eat together,and moving forward together! coz our BHARAT fillows "VIVIDHTA ME EKTA" as well as our country a single family,"VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM"that's all.JAI HIND

my another theme is "Be Indian Buy Indian"Gandhiji always want India to prosper .He boycotted forgin goods so govt can launch many programes not only khadhi but many other programes and govt have to take initiative to improve the quality of india goods and these steps will make indians to buy only indian goods .Then only indian manufacturers will prosper which help in increase India's income.Be indian and support india jaibhind

Respected sir ,as we all know that Gandhi ji was a follower of "AHIMSA"he always prayed for the good of whole society so the theme for one month is "Loka Samastha Sughino Bhavanthu" let every one in the world be happy.in that month we can conduct many programes to make aware of people about our ancient indian culture (ie) how each and every one treated every living and nonliving thing in this world..we can build a new india with humanity and love in every persons heart

Just Few Suggestion for my Gov....1. Create A Emergency contact number Like 911 or sumthing similar . 2. Make Bhim App more frendly like paytm app..3. Make Bhim App compulsory in government institution 4. Give Discount on product using Bhim App 4. Make a new (government news channel).
